dsg is no different from waypoints as it doesnt show routes or cheeses.

why try to make someone stop using something when they've already done it and dont need your advice on removing it.

stonk cheesing and sf is fair enough but for that you actually have to have playtime and be shown of it.

It makes you learn the secrets better. With waypoints you are mindlessly following the pathfinder line or whatever, you can watch bighero or any of the big dungeon sweat’s channels but dsg will let you memorize the secrets and a path because you are watching someone do a semi-efficient path. If you do use it, ok, make sure to eventually stop

but please
the order of things to do
blood rush
clear the rooms
find a dead end
THEN secrets
you have no idea how many horrible parties there are and everyone has dungeons guide and starts doing all of the secrets in the first room and they spend 2 minutes there

dungeons guide sucks, dungeons room mod has proper waypoints and a good estimating system.

i get that, i end up doing half of the secrets bc of this.

waypoints would help better, i used to use dsg but in reality it doesnt help so much and waypoints achieve basically the same thing but without so much effort, even if you watched the vid it would be faster to do all the secrets instead of going to some exact spot and going the exact way.

ig I would just recommend doing solo f2 runs and memorizing the secrets because it’s just a convenient dsg if you treat it as such

ive already memorized quite a lot of secrets i just cant be bothered to go to dsg if im missing 1.

im not saying waypoints are something for lategame/endgame im saying its good for f4/f5/f6 and also for anyone who wants to start doing dungeons.

ok, let me give you a example.

forgot name of the room but the room with a lot of levers in and 2 chests at the end, the way they show the path is bad and you could finish it faster than going to the spot they are and then doing it that way.

if you dont actively sweat the game and dont pour hours into it and can still get a s+ with sub 6s i think it would be fine for anyone.
